Incoming First-Year Student Andrew Sessions Selected As Belin Scholar

Incoming first-year student Andrew Sessions ’26 is certain of two things: he wants to study biology and NC State is the place to do it. As the newest recipient of the Jacob and Betty Belin Scholarship — the College of Sciences’ largest award for undergraduates — the Cumming, Georgia, native can pursue his studies at NC State without financial stress.

Trustees Elect Officers for 2022-23

NC State’s Board of Trustees elected its 2022-23 officers on July 15. The board is composed of 13 members, eight of whom are elected by the UNC Board of Governors and four who are appointed by the General Assembly. The president of the student body serves as an ex-officio member.

Katie Godfrey Kilgore ’16 Strives for a Culture of Community Through Fount Coffee + Kitchen
