NC State alumna, Microsoft executive and Virgin Islands native Rashida A. Hodge recently introduced Adaina Smith as the first recipient of the Rashida A. Hodge Scholarship. Kiess to Lead NC State’s Prestage Department of Poultry Science

Aaron Kiess will take the helm as head of the Prestage Department of Poultry Science in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences on July 1. Kiess, who has served as interim department head since January, joined the department as the Braswell Distinguished Professor in commercial layer management, physiology or nutrition in 2021.
