Julia Murphy fell in love with NC State while attending Wolfpack football games with her parents, who are both alumni. Now, as a Park Scholar majoring in elementary education, she will have the opportunity to make her own path at NC State.

Paige Seibert comes from a small town in Maryland, but her ambitions will help create a sustainable future for millions of people across the United States. The Park Scholar and rising senior in the College of Engineering is interning this summer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Colorado, giving her the opportunity to learn how to help save our planet — Seibert’s lifelong dream.

Sydney Loflin ’26 is from a small town in North Carolina but has had a large impact on the state by serving as the North Carolina FFA President. Now, she’s a Park Scholar and part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ new agricultural communications program.

Milind Named Knight-Hennessy Scholar

Park Scholars alumnus Nikhil Milind ’21, who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in genetics at Stanford School of Medicine, recently added another prestigious honor to his résumé by being admitted into the 2023 cohort of Knight-Hennessy Scholars, an international graduate-level scholarship program at Stanford University.

Park Enrichment Grants Awarded in April

The Park Enrichment Grant Committee made 16 awards to Park Scholars who submitted proposals by the April deadline. These funds enable Park Scholars to Think and Do even more during their time with the Pack.

Park Scholarships Announces the Class of 2027

The Park Scholarships program has named 40 students to its Class of 2027 — the 28th class of Park Scholars. The Park Scholarships program provides a four-year scholarship valued at approximately $117,000 for in-state students and approximately $215,000 for out-of-state students.
