Senior Prepared to Launch After Graduation

Joining the makerspace program in his first year led Nick Sischo to experience all that NC State Entrepreneurship offers, including Wolf Den, Make-A-Thon, LuLu eGames, Albright Entrepreneur Village and being an NC State Entrepreneurship Scholar. Because of these impactful opportunities, he's ready to launch his career at a Raleigh startup.

After graduation, Goodnight Scholars Christian Williams and Oscar Molina are heading in different directions: vet school at the College of Veterinary Medicine and a role at Deutsche Bank. Both of these next steps were made possible through the Goodnight Scholars Program’s transfer pathway, created in 2017 to provide extraordinary opportunities for community college graduates across North Carolina.

Graduating Senior Moving on to Miller Fellowship

Johnny Davis, who just graduated from the Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, will be hanging around NC State for a while longer. He was recently named a Miller Fellow for the 2020–2021 cohort. For the next six months, Davis and five other fellows will receive a monthly stipend to support them in their startup ventures through the Dr. Thomas Kenan Miller III Fellows Program, which supports recent NC State graduates as they develop into stronger entrepreneurial thinkers and build their ventures in a supportive and engaging peer environment.
