From Iran to Raleigh, a Family Legacy Continues at NC State

Thirty years after her father earned a degree from NC State, Kemmia Ghodrat graduated with dual degrees in sociology and communication in the fall of 2023. In addition to being an outstanding student, Kemmia was a 2022 Red and White Night speaker as well as a Chancellor’s Aide, assisting with numerous university philanthropic events.

Private support enabled Lara Rabinowitz ’22 to study on campus and abroad during her time at NC State, all while combining seemingly different majors in seamless ways.
