Charles Heilig Helps Weave Textiles’ Future through Service and Giving

Charles S. Heilig III always knew he wanted be a part of creating something. Today, he serves as president and chief executive officer of Parkdale, a global leader in yarn manufacturing, and president of the North Carolina Textile Foundation. He and his wife, Christa H. Heilig, are also creating extraordinary opportunities by endowing the Charles S. Heilig III Scholarship.

Engineering Foundation Creates Young Alumni Advisory Board

In an effort to help engage younger NC State College of Engineering alumni in their relationship with their alma mater and provide an opportunity for them to connect with one another, the Engineering Foundation has created the Young Alumni Advisory Board (YAAB). This group of 18 young professionals represents various engineering disciplines from NC State classes of 2003 and later.
