2020 Princeton Review Rankings Reflect Efforts to Unite, Advance Entrepreneurship Across Campus

Recognition in the 2020 Princeton Review rankings in entrepreneurship highlights the investment NC State, with donor support, is making in entrepreneurship across campus. The university ranked 10th in the country for undergraduate entrepreneurship and 21st for graduate programs. The Princeton Review collects upwards of 60 self-reported data points to establish a full perspective as to what entrepreneurship on campus looks like from the student and faculty perspectives, as well as how both groups engage in off-campus events such as competitions.

NC State Jenkins MBA Announces 2020 McLauchlan Leadership Fellows

NC State's Jenkins MBA Program has named its McLauchlan Fellows for spring 2020 semester. These students will take part in the McLauchlan Leadership Series, a program designed to provide graduate-level leadership education through experiential learning. A generous 2015 gift from Russ and Cara McLauchlan has empowered more than 100 students to participate in the initiative.

$2 Million Grant from North Carolina Nonprofit Aids Study of Financial Health in Retirement

The Institute of Consumer Money Management (ICMM), a North Carolina-based nonprofit, announced a $2 million grant to three leading universities for studying the financial health of low- and moderate-income Americans who are near or in retirement. Robert Clark, professor at Poole College of Management, will be the principal investigator for the grant at NC State, focusing on understanding the changes in the standard of living for these families as they enter retirement and whether income declines can be moderated by financial literacy initiatives.

Poole College Names Interim Development and External Relations Leader

Frank Buckless, Stephen P. Zelnak Jr. Dean of Poole College of Management, has named Peyton Stokley as the college's interim executive director for development and external relations. Stokley will be expanding on her previous role as director of development, which she has held since 2017.
