Lisa LaBarbera-Mascote to Lead Campus Community Centers

Lisa LaBarbera-Mascote is the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity’s new senior director of campus community centers. She will provide leadership for all four centers, a role she has been serving in as interim since fall 2021. LaBarbera-Mascote joined NC State in 2006. In addition to leadership and advocacy, she excelled in fundraising efforts, including individual campaigns and events such as the Survivor Fund through the intentional foregrounding of multiple separate funding drives within the Women’s Center.
