Irwin to Study Bee Abundance With Support From Kriz Endowment

Rebecca Irwin has spent the past several decades at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Colorado studying how climate change affects bees and their interactions with their host plants. Irwin will return again this summer, but unlike in previous years, Irwin will be extending her visit through the fall for a sabbatical, made possible in large part by the George J. and Rhoda W. Kriz Faculty Study Leave Endowment.

Tuffy Tumbler Triumphs at Make-A-Thon

Make-A-Thon, NC State’s annual sustainability innovation challenge for students, challenges them to research, design, prototype and pitch a solution that addresses a sustainability challenge.
