Anna and Brad Sullivan Make Significant Gift to NC State Baseball Enhancement Project

Lanier Family Makes Generous Gift to NC State Women’s Basketball Locker Room Enhancement

NC State alumni and loyal Wolfpack women’s basketball supporters Gayle and Dwain Lanier have made a generous $250,000 donation toward the program’s locker room enhancement plan. In appreciation of this gift and its commitment to strengthening the Pack, NC State's Board of Trustees has approved the naming of the upgraded space to the Gayle and Dwain Lanier Women’s Basketball Locker Room.

TowneBank Makes $5 Million Gift to Enhance NC State Athletics

TowneBank has committed $5 million to Wolfpack Athletics that will support key upgrades and improvements within Carter-Finley Stadium. In recognition of the gift, the 117,000-square-foot West Side Tower that stretches from endzone to endzone (previously known as C. Richard Vaughn Towers) is being renamed TowneBank Center for a 10-year period beginning July 1, 2022.

Wolfpack Racks Up NCAA Titles

It was a remarkably successful year for NC State Athletics, which finished 2021-22 with a record-setting collection of NCAA hardware. The most recent title came June 11 at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, when sophomore distance runner Katelyn Tuohy won the 5,000-meter race with a time of 15:18.39 — the second consecutive title in that event for a Wolfpack runner.

Don Sherrill of Charlotte has made the fourth major commitment to the NC State baseball program’s enhancement plan for Doak Field at Dail Park. The three-phase plan will strategically meet program and budgetary priorities including field improvements, player performance facilities and game day/fan experience enhancements.

North State Bank has pledged $2 million toward the NC State baseball program’s enhancement plan for Doak Field at Dail Park. This gift is the first major commitment to the facility upgrades that will better support NC State baseball’s competitive future while also dramatically enhancing the spectator experience.
