DASA Tops Total Gifts Leaderboard on Second Straight Day of Giving

NC State’s 2026 Day of Giving was a reminder of the tremendous support that the Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA) has received from members of the Wolfpack community. Donors helped DASA remain at the top of the Participation Leaderboard throughout the day, with the division finishing in the lead thanks to 2,161 gifts totaling $484,022.

Spreading the Love of Math and Reading Across Durham Public Schools

Marrielle Myers Ed.M. ’07, Ph.D. ’14 has authored two children’s books on early numeracy for her series Marlee Loves Math. Hollylynne Lee, Myers’ former professor in the College of Education, recently used funds from the Roberts Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching that she won in 2022 to donate a set of Myers’ books to all 32 elementary schools in Durham Public Schools, where Myers was a K-12 student.
