Remembering Jim Hunt ’59

Two-time NC State student body president and four-time North Carolina governor Jim Hunt died Dec. 18 at the age of 88. Hunt was instrumental in the growth of NC State’s Centennial Campus, having transferred the land for it to the university during his time as governor. The James B. Hunt, Jr. Library is named in his honor.
