Meet the Solomon Scholars

Nineteen extraordinary students were part of the College of Sciences’ signature undergraduate scholarship program in 2018-19. The Daniel L. Solomon Scholars Program is named for the college’s inaugural dean, who spent more than 30 years at NC State before retiring in 2015. Donor support is critical to funding the program, which offers community-building and experiential learning opportunities in addition to renewable scholarship awards.

Four Students Win Prestigious Goldwater Scholarship

All four of NC State's nominees have been selected to receive the nation's preeminent scholarship in science, math and engineering. The group of four undergraduate students, which includes two Park Scholars and a Goodnight Scholar, share a passion for innovative research.

Wolfpack Outfitters Contributes $15,000 for the Fourth Anniversary of the Our Three Winners Fund

Since the Our Three Winners Fund was created in 2015, Wolfpack Outfitters has been consistently selling Wolfpack World products whose proceeds go directly to the fund. To date, Wolfpack Outfitters has sold over 6,000 Wolfpack World items in support of the scholarship fund.

Goodnight Scholars Program Announces Class of 2023

The Goodnight Scholars Program at North Carolina State University revealed the 50 recipients selected for its Class of 2023. Established in 2008 by NC State alumni Dr. Jim Goodnight and Mrs. Ann Goodnight, the Goodnight Scholars Program is available to North Carolina residents from low- and middle-income families who aspire to study in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics or STEM education discipline.
