NC State Announces New Scholarship Funded by Alumni Rhett & Link

During NC State’s Day of Giving 2024, College of Engineering alumni Rhett McLaughlin ’00 and Link Neal ’01 (aka Rhett & Link) established a full-ride, two-year scholarship via their company, Mythical. The Rhett & Link Engineering Innovation Scholarship Fund will be available to third- and fourth-year Engineering students who demonstrate a commitment to innovation and creativity in engineering, sciences, the arts, entertainment or the intersection of these disciplines.

Hardworking Heroine

NC State alumna Callie Lewis Bryan ’22 was the first recipient of the Jarvis Warren Family Animal Industry Scholarship Endowment, a full-ride scholarship named in honor of Dan Warren’s father. During her time at NC State, Lewis Bryan even had the opportunity to get to know Dan Warren, whose gift funded the scholarship.

The Libraries’ Annual Donors and Scholars Event Spotlights the Significance of Legacy

The NC State University Libraries student scholarship awardees and donors gathered in Hunt Library’s Duke Energy Hall for a Donors and Scholars reception on February 22. For the 2023-24 academic year, philanthropic support for the Libraries Student Scholarship Fund allowed the Libraries to award 18 talented students with scholarships totaling $67,760.
