Our 2025 graduating class includes future entrepreneurs and earthquake experts, sports marketers and pharmaceutical engineers, doctoral researchers and design thinkers. We spent time with a few of them so we could tell you about their NC State experiences and where they’re headed next.

Seventh Annual Day of Giving Raises Nearly $800K for College of Natural Resources

On March 26, NC State’s seventh annual Day of Giving fundraiser brought together Wolfpack alumni, faculty, staff and others to support the College of Natural Resources. The college received 976 gifts for a preliminary total of $796,485 thanks to the generosity of donors, with the funds going to support student scholarships, faculty research and much more.

Park Scholar Cade Brady Honored With Prestigious Goldwater Scholarship

Park Scholar Cade Brady ’26, a double major in biological sciences and microbiology, has been named a Goldwater Scholarship recipient. The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program, established by the United States Congress in 1986, is one of the oldest and most prestigious national undergraduate scholarships in the natural sciences, engineering and mathematics.

Goodnight Transfer Scholars Program Selects Finalists for Class of 2028

The Goodnight Transfer Scholars Program recently revealed the finalists who will participate in the program’s annual Transfer Finalist Interview Day. From the Finalist Interview Day, 60 students will be invited to join the Goodnight Transfer Scholars Program’s class of 2028, the largest transfer cohort in program history.

A new program at the College of Veterinary Medicine is addressing North Carolina’s shortage of rural veterinarians. In its inaugural year, the Randall B. Terry Jr. Rural Veterinary Scholars Program sent six veterinary students to work with large and food animal veterinarians across the state.
