2018 Lulu eGames Winners

On April 5, more than 500 people gathered in Stewart Theatre to see the next generation of entrepreneurs at the Lulu eGames LIVE, NC State's annual startup competition. Awards categories included one made possible by the Daugherty Entrepreneurialism Endowment in partnership with the Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science.

NC State student entrepreneurs and recent graduates are invited to apply to the NC State Acceleration Fund for the 2018 summer program cycle. Established in 2016 with a $1 million seed donation from Lyn and Chip Andrews, the program aims to accelerate economic development by helping new ventures survive and grow through equity-free grants.

Investing in the Wolfpack

NC State MBA startup Tethis has received the Wolfpack Investor Network’s largest capital raise to date. The company was co-founded by Scott Bolin (MBA ’12) based on work he and fellow students did in their technology, entrepreneurship and commercialization (TEC) concentration team project in the Jenkins MBA program.

Levin to Deliver John W. Pope Lecture

Yuval Levin, editor of National Affairs and author of The Fractured Republic, will give the 2018 John W. Pope Lecture, "In Search of Solidarity in the Age of Trump," later this month at NC State. The John W. Pope Lecture Series is hosted by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Poole College of Management to encourage dialogue on topics of political and economic interest. It's supported by a grant from the John W. Pope Foundation.
