North Carolina State University Foundation, Inc., Accepting 2023 Grant Proposals

The North Carolina State University Foundation is currently accepting proposal submissions for its annual grant program, which provides seed-funding for new and innovative programs or initiatives that enhance the quality of the undergraduate and graduate experience at NC State. Grant requests of up to $25,000 are allowed, so be sure to submit your proposal before this year’s deadline of May 5.

Partnering to Combat Student Housing Insecurity

Grants from the NC State University Foundation are supporting development of a Host Homes Program, which will match students facing homelessness or housing insecurity with members of the community willing to open their homes. At the same time, an interdisciplinary partnership with Professor Tom Barrie in the College of Design is exploring what it might look like to provide housing on or near campus.

Libraries Receives NC State University Foundation Grant

The NC State University Foundation has granted the Libraries $20,000 to enhance Hunt Library's new Dataspace. The award will support the creation of a specialized, securable workstation, allowing students in all disciplines to work with large data sets that cannot be managed on public lab computers.

Park Foundation Honored with 2018 Menscer Cup

The NC State University Foundation presented its highest honor to the Park Foundation earlier this month. Adelaide Gomer, daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy Park, accepted the Menscer Cup in role as president of the Park Foundation, which created the Park Scholarships program in 1996.
