Goodnight Scholars Program Announces Class of 2027

The Goodnight Scholars Program recently revealed the 50 recipients from 31 North Carolina counties who were selected for its new cohort of scholars. The Goodnight Scholarship, which is made possible by the generosity of Dr. Jim and Mrs. Ann Goodnight, is valued at $23,000 per year for up to four years for traditional students and provides them with access to a comprehensive student-development program.

Goodnight Scholars Program Announces Transfer Class of 2026

The Goodnight Scholars Program recently revealed the 50 recipients from 21 North Carolina counties who were selected for its new transfer cohort of scholars. The Goodnight Scholarship, which is made possible by the generosity of Dr. Jim and Mrs. Ann Goodnight, is valued at $23,000 per year for up to three years for transfer students and provides them with access to a comprehensive student-development program, as well as with transfer-specific programming and instruction to aid in their successful transition from community college to NC State.

A glance at the accomplishments of the Goodnight Scholars class of 2023 reveals a cohort of outstanding students, campus leaders, fellowship recipients and future change-agents. Even with all of these accolades, the graduates continued to exemplify the program’s mission to “pay it forward” through their service and leadership in the program.

The Goodnight Scholars Program recently revealed the finalists who will participate in its Annual Transfer Finalist Interview Day. Following the event, 50 students will be invited to join the program’s class of 2026.

NC State Announces 2022-23 Goodnight Early Career Innovators

The Goodnight Early Career Innovators program recognizes and rewards promising NC State early-career faculty whose scholarship is in STEM or STEM education. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Dr. Jim and Mrs. Ann Goodnight, the 25 faculty selected for the 2022-23 class will receive $22,000 for each of the next three years to support their scholarship and research endeavors.

Goodnight Scholarships Select Finalists for Class of 2027

The Goodnight Scholarships office at NC State revealed 104 finalists who will participate in the program’s annual finalist interview day. The finalists were selected from a pool of candidates from across North Carolina and represent 84 high schools, 42 counties, and six NC State academic colleges. From this group, 50 students will be invited to join the Goodnight Scholars Program’s Class of 2027.
