Chuck Flink Recognized as One of ASLA’s 2023 Awardees with LaGasse Medal

Charles A. “Chuck” Flink, FASLA is the 2023 recipient of the LaGasse Medal. An invaluable supporter of NC State, Flink is also a two-time alumnus of the College of Design, currently teaches as part of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design, serves as the director of the NC State Initiative for Community Growth and Development and is the owner and founder of Greenways, Inc.

Polish Diplomat Tours ISE, Celebrates Design Endowment

Polish Deputy Ambassador Adam Krzywosądzki recently visited NC State for a weekend of high-level meetings, tours and a remarkable public lecture, all capped by the recognition of the new Maciej Nowicki Polish Architecture & Design Endowment at the College of Design during its Designlife Gala. The Nowicki endowment was created by the Polish-American Club of the Triangle and will enable College of Design students and faculty to study Polish architecture and design.
