Historic NC State Veterinary Medicine Fundraising Campaign Exceeds Goal

The resounding success of the Think and Do the Extraordinary Campaign solidifies NC State’s position as a world leader in veterinary medicine. A final total of $231,140,770 in donor support eclipses the original $175 million goal by 132%, propelling the College of Veterinary Medicine into a new era of groundbreaking research, advanced clinical care and training new generations of veterinary professionals.

NC State Fundraising Campaign Comes to an Extraordinary End

After five incredible years, NC State’s Think and Do the Extraordinary Campaign has come to a close. This historic fundraising effort saw more than 1,300 new scholarships and fellowships endowed, 104 distinguished professorships created and more. All told, the university’s friends and alumni donated $2,103,932,120 toward its ongoing success.

Behind the Voice

NC State alumnus Donovan Corneetz is a professional voice actor who lends his expertise to some of the world’s most popular brands and products. The 2005 graduate from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences also served as the original voice of the Think and Do the Extraordinary Campaign, which is coming to a close this December.

New Fund Helps NC State Students Overcome COVID-19 Educational Impacts

The North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation has announced the creation of a Hardship Fund to increase its ongoing support of NC State’s Community College Collaboration program. This grant addendum will assist students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
