Teaching Fellow and Caldwell Fellow Maia Solomon ’25 embarked on a transformative journey recently, immersing herself in a nine-week residency at Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia. There, she dedicated her time to teaching 7th-grade science and leading a filmmaking class, all while contributing more than 300 hours of service in teaching and leadership training.

Brittany Kachalia is now an embedded counselor with the Park Scholarships Program, the Goodnight Scholars Program and the Caldwell Fellows Program, ensuring that students can receive many of the same services provided at NC State’s Counseling Center from someone more familiar with the culture and demands of their respective programs.
