Building Dedication Marks Milestone for N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will dedicate the NC State University Plant Sciences Building on April 12 at 11 a.m. The event is free to attend, and the public is invited to join state officials, university leaders, donors and friends in the celebration.

Syngenta Donates One-of-a-Kind Laboratory Equipment to N.C. PSI

Long-time NC State corporate partner Syngenta recently donated four plant-growth chambers to NC State’s Plant Sciences Initiative. These chambers, with their unique capabilities and a specialized weighing system for water-use research, are valued at more than $1.5 million, making this the largest corporate donation that PSI has received to date.

Moving Out, Moving In, Moving Forward

Learn more about the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering's move into Centennial Campus' newest building, Fitts-Woolard Hall. One of the first areas to be shifted in August was the Construction, Materials and Mechanics Laboratory, usually referred to simply as Mann 100. David Johnston, Edward I. Weisiger Distinguished Professor Emeritus, has been overseeing the move.
