The Libraries Makerspace Crowdfunding Campaign More Than Triples Its Goal

The Libraries Makerspace led the universitywide, fall 2023 crowdfunding campaign with 37 donations totaling $16,135 — more than three times the original goal of $5,000. The Libraries will use the funds raised during the campaign to support Makerspace operations by purchasing supplies and performing maintenance.

Caldwell Fellows Day of Giving Recap

The Caldwell Fellows continued a tradition of engaged philanthropy on NC State’s 2023 Day of Giving. The day brought together five decades of Caldwell Fellows alumni and friends, as more than 250 individual donors stepped up to help raise more than $130,000 for NC State’s oldest merit scholarship and servant-leadership development program.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Wolfpack rallied to help the Division of Academic and Student Affairs earn the most gifts for NC State’s 2023 Day of Giving. On the day, the division raised more than $1.3 million through 2,100-plus gifts.

The Libraries focuses on supporting student success and wellness and on making education more affordable for the Wolfpack. Donors responded in record numbers to that mission with a variety of generous gifts to the Libraries on the 2023 Day of Giving, including six new scholarships.
