Guy Burke: A Legacy 30 Years in the Making

Guy Burke passed away on March 22, 2019. Though he left behind no children, his legacy lives on through his bequest to NC State that’s allowing students to chase their dreams.

To honor her mother, and seeded by gifts from their wedding guests, she and her husband created an endowment that they continue to grow to support students facing similar difficulties.

Allison Anderson ’05 ’07 and David Anderson ’05 met during their time in the Caldwell Fellows Program. The program made such a significant impact on their lives that they have decided to establish a new named fund that will honor their time there as well as benefit other students.
