NC State Wins Third Annual Pantry Bowl

NC State came out on top in the Pantry Bowl for the second straight year. Generous donors gave 1,634 gifts totaling $125,162.15, ensuring a Wolfpack victory off the field as well as on it.

A Lasting Legacy for Dairy Science

Four graduate students are the first recipients of the William E. Younts Jr. Dairy Science Graduate Support Endowment. The fund benefits graduate students pursuing advanced degrees focusing on dairy processing and/or dairy food manufacturing within the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences.

Alumna Using Textile Engineering Skills in the Luxury Sportswear Industry

New Just Communities Lab Advocates for Environmental Justice

Kofi Boone, Joseph D. Moore Distinguished Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, has formed a new lab at NC State that uses design and planning as a tool to address environmental justice concerns.

AI-Powered Waste Management System to Revolutionize Recycling

Lokendra Pal, the EJ Woody Rice Professor in the College of Natural Resources’ Department of Forest Biomaterials, is working with his collaborators to develop a “smart waste management system” for the collection, identification and characterization of organic materials in non-recyclable waste.

Memorial Professorship Established in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Tom Clausi passed away earlier this year at the age of 80 and according to his son, Nick Clausi ’94, was a loyal member of the Wolfpack his entire life. Nick and his wife, Rebecca ’95, have generously initiated the endowment of the Thomas M. Clausi Professorship in Chemical Engineering in Tom’s memory.
