Finalists Will Compete Oct. 30 in Three Minute Thesis

Because of gifts to the Graduate School Enhancement Fund, 10 graduate student finalists representing four NC State colleges will compete in the fourth annual Three Minute These during Red and White Week. The international competition challenges students to share their research in just three minutes with one slide.

Researching Ethics in Counseling with an Aim to Help Others

Walter H. Wilkinson Graduate Fellowship recipient Latonya Graham's dissertation explores the understanding and application of the revision to the latest American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics relating to confidentiality and privacy. A background in public health inspired the NC State student's work.

Finalists Chosen for 2017 Three Minute Thesis

Ten finalists representing five NC State colleges will compete in the Graduate School’s third annual Three Minute Thesis competition Oct. 31, during the university’s Red and White Week celebration. The event, which challenges graduate students to share their major research project in only three minutes, is made possible by gifts to the Graduate School Enhancement Fund.

High-Tech Bionics Meet the Human Side of Science

Ph.D. biomedical student Andrea Brandt is working with Helen Huang, a University Faculty Scholar, to study how above-knee amputees adapt to using a powered prosthesis for activities like carrying a load. The goal: better mobility and control of movement.
