Lulu eGames Goes Digital

The Lulu eGames, NC State's annual startup competition sponsored by Lulu.com and supported by volunteer judges, has gone digital. Winners will be announced on NC State Entrepreneurship’s Facebook page April 8 at 6 p.m., with livestream Q&As to follow.

NC State Entrepreneurship Shines

Tom Miller, NC State's senior vice provost for academic outreach and entrepreneurship, was recently interviewed by the Trade Show Live to talk about entrepreneurship culture at the university and programs fostering a business-building environment. Listen to the podcasts, on which Miller shares how the concept of creating “beneficial collisions” led to the birth of programs and common spaces such as the Entrepreneurship Garage, the Albright Entrepreneurs Village and the eClinic.

Jon Carr Discusses the Success of NC State Entrepreneurship

Jon Carr, Jenkins Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship, was featured on WRAL during the On the Record segment to discuss the growth and success of entrepreneurship at NC State. NC State entrepreneurship start-ups have generated $1.2 billion in added income to the state economy and, currently, there are 31 start-up companies housed in the new NC State Entrepreneurship Garage.

2020 Princeton Review Rankings Reflect Efforts to Unite, Advance Entrepreneurship Across Campus

Recognition in the 2020 Princeton Review rankings in entrepreneurship highlights the investment NC State, with donor support, is making in entrepreneurship across campus. The university ranked 10th in the country for undergraduate entrepreneurship and 21st for graduate programs. The Princeton Review collects upwards of 60 self-reported data points to establish a full perspective as to what entrepreneurship on campus looks like from the student and faculty perspectives, as well as how both groups engage in off-campus events such as competitions.
