College of Humanities and Social Sciences Student of the Month: Olivia Zalecki

Olivia Zalecki, a Caldwell Fellow and a double major in Chinese and international politics, is the founder and president of Adopted Students Union at NC State. Zalecki, who has studied abroad in China and England, aspires to work in government in the area of international relations.

Lisbeth Arias recently realized a dream when she held a launch celebration for her clothing line, Descalza, at her alma mater, NC State’s College of Textiles. The Caldwell Fellow alumna started the line as an undergraduate and now is working to build her own business.

Honoring a Legacy
